A rare pituitary adenoma: silent corticotroph adenoma

Introduction: Silent corticotroph adenomas (SCAs) are uncommon pituitary tumors, immunoreactive for ACTH, but without clinical evidence of hypercortisolism and present with local mass effects and some endocrine dysfunction.
